For those of you who are in town on Monday 4 September 2017, the Labour Day picnic is held at Waterloo Park between 12:00 noon and 4:00 pm, and the picnic includes activities for children.
All the proceeds from the day will be donated to the United Way Waterloo Region

Take a few minutes to visit the ‘Make it Fair’ table that is promoting the discussion of changes and amendments to Bill 148, to ensure that it lives up to its title. Some of us will be volunteering there and can speak to how Bill 148 could be improved to help our contract faculty colleagues.
Bill 148 is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to make positive changes and improve the working conditions for contract faculty and other precarious workers across the province.
