Each Sept 1, the EDII Fund refreshes at $20,000, split $10,000 for Indigenous Knowledge and $10,000 for other EDI work; unused money carries to the next term (see 28.9.2). Eligible uses include guest speakers, EDII-focused experiential learning, EDII conference travel, and training. Applications go to Office of Faculty Relations; adjudication involves AVP: EDI or AVP: Indigenous Initiatives; max $2,000 (min $500).

By September 1 of each year, the University shall provide the Association with a summary report regarding the Annual Reports of Activities submitted by Members. The report must include:
What information was compiled, for whom the information was compiled, for what purposes the information is being used. This obligation promotes transparency and ensures the Association is informed of how Members’ annual self-reporting is utilized by the administration.

This notice initiates the formal transition process toward a Candidacy Appointment for Members holding a Provisional Appointment.
Teaching Accommodation RequestsTeaching Accommodation RequestsTeaching Accommodation Requests (18.2.4.11) Members who have a disability or caregiving obligations (specifically for immediate family members with a disability) may request accommodation regarding the scheduling of their assigned teaching duties. The process is governed by Policy 8.7 (Employment Accommodation Policy and Procedures).
To initiate the process the Member must submit a formal written request to the Dean by September 15 of the academic year. The Department Chair, in coordination with the Dean, will arrange a teaching schedule that reasonably accommodates the Member’s needs.

This notice invites the Member to submit their dossier and supporting materials no later than October 5 (per 13.7.2.4) for consideration in the seniority assessment process.
