In follow up to our email asking for nominations to serve on various WLUFA committees, WLUFA is still in need of nominations for the following:

Multilateral Day Care Advisory – Waterloo – 1 positions available to both full-time and contract faculty (this committee meets when needed and is in place as per Collective Agreement Language – Article 28.2.3 FT CA, Article 24.2.1 CTF CA)
Multilateral Day Care Advisory – Brantford – 3 positions available to both full-time and contract faculty (this committee meets when needed and is in place as per Collective Agreement Language – Article 28.2.3 FT CA, Article 24.2.1 CTF CA)
Bilateral University-Association Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Advisory –1 positions available to full-time faculty (Article 22.4 FT CA). Note: This nomination is open and may, but does not have to, be for a representative who identifies as a member of an equity-seeking group.
Alternate Equity Representative on SPAT – 1 positions available to full-time faculty – There will be training for these positions.
Research Grants Appeal – 8 positions available to full-time faculty – (Appendix B FT CA)
Multilateral Parking Committee – 1 positions available to both full-time and contract faculty
Waterloo Regional Labour Council Representatives – 3 positions available to both full-time and contract faculty (This committee provides WLUFA’s primary connection to other unions in our community. The Labour Council is comprised of locals of the many unions in the region. The Council coordinates support and activism for a wide number of community initiatives. The Council meets the second Tuesday of every month except during the summer)
Brantford Labour Council Representatives – 2 positions available to both full-time and contract faculty (This committee provides WLUFA’s primary connection to other unions in our community. The Labour Council is comprised of locals of the many unions in the region. The Council coordinates support and activism for a wide number of community initiatives. The Council meets one evening each month to be determined in Sept.)
